Very convenient and strategically located in heart of city. However a bit over-priced.
First, I book smoking room, and I get nonsmoking room for my first booking, then I book again smoking room and again I get non smoking room. In the same time a person from Poland had booked via Booked.net for non smoking room and she get smoking room so we changed the room. They just do not care for the notices and needs from the clients!! The hotel is extremely dirty and is not good for your reputation to have this hotel in your lists. On the top of all they charged me in advance additional 50$ for each day ( 5+3 days= 400$) just in case which they give me back after check out???? I newer hade this kind of experience in any other hotel!! How they can do that without informing us in advance. If I know that in advance I would never book there.
Room rather small and shabby, poor quality air-conditioning
the hotel is very good located, staff willing to help us, rooms comfortable
The Bellmen are very helpful. The housekeeping staffs are very polite. Location. The hotel is closed to Subway stations which will take you to uptown or downtown in 15 minutes. China town and Little Itlay is only a 5-minute walk from the hotel.
Noise. The hotel is on a noisy street and we could hear the traffic all night. It has taken me 3 nghts to get used to the noise. I booked a non-smoking room but had been given a smoking room because of availability. The female staff at the Check-In counter tried to justify this by saying I did not specify it in my booking. I was too tired to argue with her. The room smells!
Near Canal St station (easy access to Times Square), Little Italy and Chinatown, walking distance from SoHo - great location! Very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful.
A little noisy, can feel the cars and subway from in the room. Window a/c, also noisy if you're not used to them. The area is a bit rough at night, not in SoHo as advertised.
Great Location for downtown shopping, room was clean & comfortable, and free wifi.
Breakfast was basic, but what considering cost you can't complain, but I would go out and find a diner next time. Hard to get taxi, factor extra time if in a hurry
İ stayed hopefully for one night. No body even helped me to find a cab insdead they keep watching very interesting place .
The room was really nice and modern. The location is great (is in between Soho and China town) and very near to the subway. The staff was really friendly. Complimentary internet service.
Rooms are noisy (noise from the street). Shades don´t cover the full window, so it´s not possible to really have a dark room. Internet did not always work.
The check in/out speed is terribly terribly slow.
The hotel is not in Soho, but Chinatown.
The bellman was very friendly and helpful. Great beds and pillows.
The staff was not very helpful at the desk, and did not seem very organized. The price was high for the value and service. Not normal Holiday Inn standard.
I accidentally booked a smoking room. The room was remarkably smoke- free.
Close to the subway and Manhattan Downtown attractions, shopping and restaurants. Bellmen were all really nice and very helpful. Excellent service from them. Also we were late to breakfast but the staff still provided us with menu service.
The bar closed too early - at 10:30pm. The staff cleaning the rooms were inclined to expect that they would be ready for cleaning quite early in the morning - before 10am. This is probably ok for those staying at the hotel for work, but not those - such as us - staying for pleasure.
Good location for my visit to CMJ music festival
The very rude chinese receptionist who was shockingly horrible and unhelpful to an elderly couple who were concerned about using their credit card for the possible incidentals, she did not explain at all well Check in time is too late, most of our first day was spent waiting to get a shower, therefore wasted
